It doesn't seem too long ago when I was still busy dating (but not quite having fun) three guys simultaneously. It doesn't seem too long ago when I met the man who made me quiver with excitement and passion (naks!). It doesn't seem too long ago when I was worried that I won't be able to bear a child (unfounded fear but different story).

Now, I hold an 11 month old baby in my hand who is healthy and happy. It makes me wonder what I did right to have him. Seriously.

You must be doing something right to deserve such good things :) I used to feel scared as hell about having kids... not that I didn't want any. I was just scared of going through the whole process. But once it happens pala, you know you can do it! Then they grow up so fast, don't they? Here's a tip: Take an imprint of your little one's feet one his first birthday. I did that for my Isaac every month but I had imprints framed for footprints at birth, 6 months and 1 year. It's a pretty sentimental keepsake :)
Thanks for visiting my blog! I'll link you up, of course. I like reading the thoughts of other people. How long have you been in the Maldives pala? I've been there once but I was only 8 that time, if memory serves me right. :)
Hi May lovely tip, thanks. I have his footprints at birth but nothing in between. I think I'll get one on his first birthday.
Hmmm...I think I've been here for 3 years now. But we go home (Manila) every 6 months. I came when I was still single and worked in a resort/hotel. Met my husband and the rest is history =)
Thanks for coming again.
Yeah, get his footprints at one year. The difference from his birth prints is amazing. That's why I had birth, 6 months and 1 year footprints framed because you can see the growth pattern talaga. Milestone moment hehe. Even hubby napaluha.. and he's a toughie ha.
Oh, tagal mo na pala sa Maldives. At my blog's About Page I talked about me and siblings growing up in Africa. Mga feeling nognog kami :D So on one of our family travels, nakarating kami ng Maldives :)
hi Josiet,
great to hear abt you and your 11 mth old . I have an 11 mth old boy too. His routine is somewhat like your baby's. Except that he is rejecting his solids & asking for more milk these couple of weeks. My family is looking forward to celebrating his 1st year birthday with a bash! But every month , my family would do a simple celebration to commemorate his monthly development and thank GOD for giving us a healthy baby.
cheers to you
anita
