Best birthday party location?

I am totally at loss. I want to have a simple, no frills birthday party for EJ. And I want it to be very affordable. We do have choices already (McDo, Jollibee, Max's) but we have one problem. We only have a few kids on the guest list. We feel it's awkward to hold a party in the above mentioned places with more adults than kids. What do you think?

We have one last alternative though. Celebrate EJ's birthday in Dad's/Kamayan! EJ's baptismal and 1st birthday celebration were both held in Dad's/Kamayan..hehehe..Do you see a pattern here?

Seriously, I like Dad's because it offers our guests a variety of food and they can eat as much as the want. But since we've decided we want to cut down on our extra expenses, Dad's seems a little off. It's a little more costly than the fast food chains.

Any suggestions please?

Stay within your budget. Yan lang maadvice ko.
Mas solemn if you are few, than a lot, di mo naman maasikaso.

In France, they limit to 15kids only, no parents ,except the parents of the celebrant.

I had my wedding reception in Dads Glorietta, 12 guests only.
Cost us 6000pesos, includes drinks. Then nag cork charge lang kami ng chmpagne. They gave us a small cake. Tawa kami, kasi sa dami ng kinain namin di na namin na tikman ang cake, black forest pa naman.

Siya, have a nice week end

Tita Amy's right. Dapat meron kang budget and stick to it.

If you want a children's party, Jollibee and McDo are good places. I attended a McDo party for a friend who celebrated her 17th bday and everyone had a blast! hahaha. Sobrang saya talaga!

Maganda rin sa Max. Real food. *winkwink* Although I have no idea if meron silang children's party. Yung nakita ko kasi were baptismal and wedding receptions in SM southmall. hehehe. But that was years ago. hahaha.

It wouldn't matter though if merong mga adults sa party. Pwedeng una muna children's party which lasts between 1.5 hours and 3hours. Then adults time naman.

But if you don't want to get too stressed out, pag-isahin na lang.

As of 2006, Cebu McDonald's had a children's party packages which costs between 12k-17k. Lahat-lahat na yun. You don't have to worry about a single thing. Bayad na lang. hehehe.

Pizza Hut have a children's party package as well.

But go whatever your heart desires! If you have limited time to see all your friends, EJ's bday party is the best time to see them. Chika galore, and dadami gifts ni EJ. Thought lang. Hahaha. "No gifts, no entry!" hahaha! Joke lang po!

Ate Amy - Naku, family ko pa lang at family ng asawa ko more than 12 na...hehe. Pero you're right, I should stick to my budget.

Katherine - Hahaha! Natawa naman ako sa no gifts, no entry na yan! I checked Max's website and they have kiddie parties too. Pero nde pa rin ako sure. The thing is, there will only be less than 10 kids. Tapos mga 40 adults. Iniisip ko talaga sa dads para sulit sa guests. Kaso parang kawawa naman mga kids di ba?

Hayy....bahala na si batman!:)
