Two more months and I will be thirty, yes that's right...30 years old.
It may seem old (to teenagers) but I honestly don't feel the pressure of my age. I know some people are terrified of turning 30. Some get depressed and some are even in denial. But funnily enough, I feel the opposite.
I love what I have now. Though of course I wish for some more improvements here and there but I wouldn't wish for any big change right now. I feel content and most of the time happy. I get to play with my baby any time I want. I have a supportive, generous and understanding hubby. I can eat anything I want (though I'm trying to restrain myself nowadays). I get to go to the gym for free! I get to travel twice a year.
I feel like turning 30 is just like turning another year when I was say 20. So why should I be afraid of turning 30, right?
In fact, I am quite excited. Women I know who are in their thirties are having the best time of their lives. They are more sure of themselves, more confident, and a lot more beautiful!
I am thinking of ways how to celebrate my birthday. But if I can have my way, I'd spend the time just dancing and drinking wine =)

Yeah, u r right... i don't have any ambivalent feelings towards turning 30, i think im better off now (and looks better also! hehehe)than when i turned 20...

Edregin - cas, sa tagaytay ba? but we will be back here in KL by then. Only EJ gets to celebrate it in Manila. But if we have time before we come back here, we'll try to go to that place kahit nde ko pa bday :)

Or else, gawin nyo muna ako yaya for the night then punta kau ni Eric somewhere....that is, kung magpaiwan si EJ sa akin! hehehe
hi josiet... wow you're turning 30 na pala. that's how i felt too when it was my time. you were right when you said that we, women, on our 30's are more confident, and more beautiful. hehehe. i can attest to that. nyahaha.
it's funny though coz when i reached 31, the world seemed to stop there that even when after 4 years had passed, when people ask me my age, the no. 31 automatically appears in my head. then i have to re-think. how old na nga ba ako? lol.

Age is def just a number. Papuntang 30 palang ako next year (i think). hahaha! sa totoo lang, i lost track of how old i really am. hahaha. no bull. i keep asking my forever bf kung ilang taon na kami this year.
Mahirap tlaga pag walang yaya, noh? you can't do stuffs on your own, like travel without having to worry or tow in a child.

Janet - hahaha..ganun ba? maybe because you still feel young. or age doesn't really matter anymore when you're comfortable with what you have.
Katherine - that's true, age is just a number. but since 30 is somewhat special, i make sure that i am well aware i am turning 30..hehe! Big deal para big gift din matanggap kay hubby...hahaha!
