Out with the hot

I am thinking about replacing my current Gateway laptop. After a few minute's use it gets hot. It really bothers me especially when I type. My left palm becomes hot. I tried using the notebook cooler but it doesn't seem to work. I just bought it six months ago. I don't think it qualifies as cold. Hubby's Compaq Presario doesn't get that hot.

So anyway, I checked online for a replacement. The replacement shouldn't exceed my budget of $750. I was surprised to see laptops for less than that. I thought I can only buy cheap laptops here in KL.

Meet two of the Toshiba Satellite series.


The second laptop though is quite expensive. It retails for more than a thousand. But the specs are quite good. And it looks quite sturdy too.

But before I make a decision, I think I should visit Plaza Low Yat First. I might be able to trade in my Gateway laptop.
