It was the perfect setting for a family with a toddler. There were several activities and places to entertain both the adults and the kids. Needless to say EJ was in his element. He loves the outdoors.

EJ found a toy. It was perfect since it was windy on a Saturday afternoon...

At night, it was dreamy...
There were several shows and activities lined up all throught out the day. At 9:30PM, a group of dancers performed several interpretations of dances from Africa, Malaysia, etc..
EJ was fascinated with this "knight". He kept on asking where the face of the "person" was.
This was taken during the morning. He was alone so he didn't have much fun. But when we came back at night, there were a bunch of kids older than him inside. He relished the moment with other kids. I think I was the only parent who was tensed. I kept on reminding him to be careful. I think I have to learn to trust him. Otherwise, he will forever be pampered.
We went to the rabbit farm. As expected, he was chasing, patting and hugging the rabbits. It was fun!
We also visited the Japanese Village which is 3,500 above sea level.
The cascading waterfall with a koi pond at the bottom...We left Kl at 9:30 AM on Saturday and stayed until 12NN the following day. I would have loved to stay a bit longer so we can visit the horse trail and the golf club but the receptionist did not give me a free late check out. For three more hours, he said he'll charge me a half day rate. At their rate, thanks but no thanks.
Aside from the disappointment of the room (we got the family suite but it was blah) and of not having a free late checkout, we had a good time.

Cas - I don't think you'd find it expensive. We paid RM480+ for a night's stay with breakfast/dinner. For a kuripot like me, mahal na yun. Hahaha!

I like the decor of the place. I always tell friends to go there wearing coats and scarves and to tell everyone else that they're been to France ;)
And you know what? I actually found one travel site that uses a photo of Colmare Tropical for their section on France!!
P.S. Room rates would be better when it's off-peak season. Right now, I think it would be peak season because of the school holidays. But food and drinks there are very expensive all year round!

will definitely visit the place one of these days. looks like the place has so much fun things to offer. and i found out that berjaya hills used to be bukit tinggi. hehehe.
480RM is also a bit expensive for me. we'll probably go for a day trip.
