In our quest to visit every mall in Malaysia (hahaha! exaggeration, of course!) we went to 1 Utama Mall last Sunday. Hubby wanted to buy more Christmas decors while I wanted to check out the Kiz Sports & Gym I've been reading in the forums. I wanted to find out if I can enroll EJ in a playgroup.
I didn't expect the mall to be humungous. I think this is the biggest mall here in Malaysia. I think it is even bigger than the Mall of Asia in Philippines.
We didn't get to go around the entire mall. It was just big. And the layout was just confusing to us newbies.
Although we found the Kiz Sports & Gym, I didn't enroll EJ. The mall is a bit far from where we live. EJ wasn't keen to go inside either.
After two hours inside the mall (including lunch) we decided to go home. We didn't even buy anything.
I am ever so glad my favorite mall is just a walking distance from our place!

Yvonne asked me if I want to go sa resort on Christmas...she wants to go Biyadhoo...I dont know yet...let's see...Im not too sure kung ano at saan ako sa pasko...but I got an invite already para sa ikalabing anim ng disyembre, ding dong ding dong ding dong....Hehehe...Me get together ang mga foreign germs kong mga friends at magkantahan daw kami ng Xmas carols....so it seems me mapupuntahan ako pero sa ngayon wiz sure...hehehe

Ikea was just close by. Did you go to Ikea, as well? :) And while you're there, go to Ikano Power Centre and The Curve!
My current favourite is Pavilion...because of the J Co Donuts outlet there! Hahaha! It's not as crowded as KLCC also.

Cas - im sure there are plenty of options for you. you can go to a resort, go to HIH or organize a party in Male. Uuwi ba lahat ng taga Wataniya? gawin nyo ulet ung katulad last year, para masaya.

Mimi - We have been to Ikea and the curve but not on that day. We were actually planning to go there after 1 Utama but EJ was tired and a little fussy so we decided to just go home.
My favorite mall is Pavilion too! Like what you said, it's not crowded, EJ can run around. J Co donuts are yummy. There's always a long line at their counter :)
i also don't like going to 1 Utama because we get confused with the floor layout... we usually end up not buying anything there.
my favorite mall is sunway pyramid. it was confusing at first (after they built the 2nd building) but now, we're okay. I just wish Tumble Tots is in Sunway Pyramid instead of Subang Parade.
Janet - We've been to sunway but haven't been able to go around. We're going back there. Malayo nga lang from here kaya tinatamad kami :)
There are actually a few playgroups in PJ. You can google around and you'll find them.
But please don't go to Bangsar Gospel Hall's Children's Centre playgroup. I like many others have left, and hope other Mommies will not fall into their trap. (which I wrote in my blog).
