But not anymore. What I do is let him guide me what kind of game he wants. Right now, he's into make-believe, monologue and the never-ending cars and trains!
But if he's bored with the above activities and I am also tired, I make his hands busy. It's educational, visually entertaining and fun. But what makes EJ likes this is because he has the license to get his hands all dirty.
Great!:)
So if you're mother of a hyper toddler and has run out of ideas how to make your child keep still but still entertained, try this.
It works well with my son. :)

ginger loves ballpens. aren't you worried EJ will start writing on walls? my little one scribbles on the wall na after i started teaching her how to write. sigh.
so far he hasn't tried writing on the walls. on the table, yes :) but i make sure he has no access to pens. he can only have a pen if i give it to him. that means i'm watching him :))
Finger painting is so fun. Thanks for sharing these fun photos. I'm sure EJ had a fantastic time dipping his fingers in paint and creating all sorts of shapes and patterns.
i like his blue vest. he looks like a painter na =). i really don't know much about how to keep kids busy, but finger painting looks fun.
Rachel - Oh yes! He like to do this every two hours. Hahaha!
Kayni - Thank you but at first he doesn't want to wear it :)
