I am not sure what's the significance of the Cherry/Chinese blossom tree but two of the malls that we frequent here have that as part of their Chinese New Year decoration. It looks cute and pretty! And it makes for a very good photo background :)
The Pine tree and Blossom tree have been the malls' highlight decoration for Christmas and Chinese New Year. Will Plum trees ever get their chance? Hehe!

woah! just look at that ox! looks so powerful! LOL. i should visit pavilion again. the last time i visited, the mall was just opened so there were not a lot of things to see.

Kaye - Hahaha! Actually nung first ko nakita ung cherry blossom tree kala ko may exhibit lang about Japan. Kase pag cherry blossom, naa-associate ko with Japan.
