The Top 10 Pinoy Expats/OFW blog 2008 has concluded last December 30, 2008 and the winners have been announced already.This blog placed number 9!
Honestly, being nominated and included in the list of the Pinoy Expats was an honor already for me. I did not expect anything more.
Sure, I asked my family and friends to vote for me. But only because I was afraid nobody would. I didn't want to be the only blog with zero vote (okay 1 vote, but coming from me). Hehehe.
But after that, I didn't check anymore how many votes I got.
When Kenji (the organizer) emailed me the link of the blog awards, I didn't expect to be included in the top 10.
Imagine how pleasantly surprised and humbled I was!
I'd like to say thank you to Kenji and his wife (Mr. and Mrs. Thoughtskoto) for all the hard work they've put into organizing this event. Mabuhay kayo!
To the judges, thank you for liking my blog. *shy smile*
And to my family, friends and everyone else who found time to vote for my blog, Thank you very much!
Mr. Jim Paredes' Writing on Air made it to number 1 spot. But of course. :)
