Back to Normal

I got my macbook back last Monday and it's working again! Thankfully there were no damages to the battery and other parts of the macbook.

Things I learned:
1.  If you're a little clumsy like me, never work with your macbook and have coffee at the same time. Or be extra careful when you have coffee (or any drinks) while working on your mac.

2. If you spilled coffee (or any liquid) on the macbook, dry it out immediately. If it shut down, wait for at least an hour before you turn it on or plug it in. You can use a blower (fan mode) to dry out excess liquid or you can put it in front of a fan.

3. If you know how to open your macbook, try to open it and see if there's excess liquid inside. Clean and dry it out carefully.

4. If you're not confident about opening the macbook yourself, bring it to the repair center immediately.

I paid $25 for the cleaning of my macbook. It's an expensive fee for clumsiness. But it's definitely cheaper compared to buying a new macbook. I am lucky. And I am grateful.

On another note, hubby and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary last Friday. We celebrated it by stuffing ourselves silly again at Sofitel Phnom Penh's La Coupole Restaurant.

A week before our anniversary, I tweeted Sofitel to ask what kind of buffet they have on a Friday. When they replied, it's Fish Market (Seafood buffet) on a Friday I requested them to book us a table for three. We were celebrating our anniversary, I said.

They not only booked us a table, they also surprised us with a cake when we were having our dessert.

{Thank you Sofitel Phnom Penh for this lovely surprise!}

{EJ volunteered to blow the candle}

I don't think anybody has ever said marriage is easy. It takes hard work on both parties. But in my opinion, when there is love, respect, trust and friendship between married couple, marriage isn't such a chore.

Once again, happy anniversary hon! I look forward to every step of our journey together. Mwah!
